James S. Tupitza. Jim is the “hands on” President of the company and a partner in the Real Estate Law Firm of Tupitza & Associates, P.C.. Jim has been a real estate lawyer since 1976. He has chaired the Real Estate Section of the Chester County Bar Association almost continuously since 1978.
He is a frequent speaker and Course Planner for both the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Pennsylvania Land Title Institute, as well as educational programs for various Title Insurance Underwriters. His courses include: “Boundary Law in Pennsylvania,” “Who’s On First: Lien Priority in Pennsylvania,” “Title Insurance from Commitment to Claim,” “Residential Real Estate Documents,” "Litigating the Failure to Disclose Case" "Litigating Construction Disputes," “Like Kind Exchanges under IRC 1031,” the annual “Pennsylvania Real Estate Institutes,” “A Day on Real Estate,” “Scams and Fraud in Real Estate Transactions” and “Segregating Costs for Cash Flow" and more. He has authored several definitive books on real estate, including chapters on: Deeds, Federal Tax Liens, State and Municipal Tax Liens, Mechanics Liens, Riparian (water) Rights, Ethics, the Drafting of Legal Descriptions, and well as The Use of Technology in a Title Insurance Agency.
